Why do I get the error: “Cannot load type library for reference ..” when compiling the C# .NET sample?

This can happen when using any of the Auron Software component API’s together with C#.

The full error message is: “Cannot load type library for reference “AxSms”. Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED)”

This, most likely, has to do with the installation of the API .dll files.

To solve this please reinstall (repair) your installation by running the original setup again.
