Backup and restore configuration

Make a backup or restore your configuration from the Auron Omni Manager File menu.

File → Backup Configuration Data

This is useful when transferring a configuration from a test setup to a production setup. However, it does not replace creating a full server or database backup.

Auron Omni backup

Restore a configuration by opening the Auron Omni Manager and clicking:

File → Restore Configuration Data

The restore dialog first asks you to select a backup directory. After that it shows a summary of what is included in the backup. You can then select what you want to restore.

Auron Omni restore

Selecting Configuration overwrites the entire configuration with the configuration from the backup.

Keep in mind that the service and all channels restart during the restore process.
