There are a couple of things that can greatly improve the performance of Auron Omni

• Use an SSD (solid state disk) for the Auron Omni database
• Use a local installation of SQL Server
• Make sure that you have a multi-core PC
• Make sure that your SQL Server license permits using multiple cores
