Server options
To change the General Program Options:
- Launch the SMS Server Manager application from the Start menu;
- Open the Configurations folder and click on Options.

The view shows an overview of the general server configuration. To edit these settings click on any of the blue headers in this view.
Options – Archiving
Settings
| Property | Description |
| General | General settings: Setup your preferred script editor for editing trigger scripts. Check for updates when starting the manager. Enable or disable integrated processing. Disable integrated processing to stop running trigger scripts. |
| High Availability | Enable / disable high availability. Setup interval and threshold settings for monitor primary and secondary servers. Setup notification settings for when the primary goes offline or is restored. |
| Processing | Setup message and trigger processing intervals. Setup processing queue sizes. Enable or disable tracking queue occupancy metrics in the manager. |
| Archiving | Setup archiving settings. You can disable archiving, archive messages to the archive table after a certain age or automatically delete messages after an age. Specify if the archive table should clean messages after a certain age or keep all messages. |
| Activity Log | Specify which activity logs should be visible and traced from the manager. |
| Proxy Settings | Setup global HTTP proxy settings. These settings are applied for all HTTP channels that don’t specify their own proxy settings. These settings are also applied when checking for updates, at activation and other license checks. |
